Boasting "red, black" and white rooms that are "extremely functional" (if "a bit small"), this "modern" hotel makes for a "quiet, hip spot in a convenient but deserted neighborhood" near the North End (hence, "close to great Italian food"); the staff "will bend over backward to accommodate" guests, but a few feel "more on-site facilities would be nice", beyond the "cool bar."

Nice and helpful staff.
Rooms could be a bit larger.

First-class operation. Excellent staff. They couldn't do enough for my family and me (5 adults)for our 4-night stay.

Staff was extremely courteous.
Location is a little sketchy, curtains were really dirty.

The rooms are really nice, but extremely small, only big enough really for the bed. The shower is great. The hallways could use some upgrading, carpet is worn, and the curtains need to be part of the cleaning schedule, they are sheer and you could see globs. ...read more

Good location and
great staff.
No hot tub, limited dining space.

Great staff and location, no work-out, pool or hot tub, and limited public space.

The staff was really friendly and it's really near
TD garden and subway station.

This is a small hotel with friendly staff. We got a great modern room of a good size.

Very clean, comfortable bedding, and wine hour.
Not crazy about location - close to Beacon Hill but deserted area.

Rooms were small - but very clean and the bedding was comfortable. Free wine hour in the very small lobby area.

Great location and very friendly.
Rom was small.

Comfortable, clean, and friendly. I would definitely stay here again. The front staff was very helpful and friendly, and the bartender was great.

It was well decorated.
Too small, could hear TV & people talking from next hotel room, parking $40 extra, too pricey!

Everything about this hotel was much smaller than the pictures on the website: the restaurant, lobby, room. We could hear the TV and people talking in the next hotel room. The view out our window was of a brick wall from another section of the hotel. There was a mini bar, but the cheapest snack was a candy bar or bottle of water for $5 each. Breakfast was not included and if you did want to eat in the morning, the breakfast buffet was $16 per person! I went down the block to 7-11 to grab food and then a coffee from Dunkin Donuts another block away. As we were checking out, another couple was quite upset to find that the valet had lost their car. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was due to the convenient location, only a block away from TD Garden, where we had tickets for a show. Overall, I was greatly disappointed and will never stay there again, nor would I recommend anyone else stay there. Yes, the staff was friendly and I was not charged extra for the toothbrush but nothing else met my expectations of a 4-star hotel. ...read more

Complimentary champagne to celebrate anniversary.
The size of the room was extremely small.

The staff was friendly, the breakfast buffet was good but pricey $40.00, there is no foyer lobby area so awaiting guests can be problematic. My biggest disappointment was the room size-way small.
